A Little About Me

Hey, welcome to my website! I’m Sydney Rose, a graduate of The Hartt School where I received a BFA in Music Theater. Outside of my time at Hartt, I am a NY based actor, singer, dancer, and all around good time! I am originally from San Diego, California (Yes, I am the luckiest). As an adoptee, I have always felt very fortunate to have been given the life I have and I like to bring that spirit into all facets of my life.

Since I can remember I’ve always been drawn to the arts. Storytelling felt like an essential need, even when I was in diapers. A surprise to no one (especially not my parents), that spirit did not fade. My big hope is to inspire people who can relate to my story and life. Especially kids that look like me. Growing up as a mixed girl in San Diego offered a lot of luxury, and also a lot of perspective. Perspective of who I am, and who I want to be. I am thankful I can bring that perspective to my work! Anything is achievable, and I am elated to continue proving that.

Not only are they all incredible but some of the most supportive && loving people i’ve ever met. to the company: Thank you so much for the constant support i couldn’t have done it without y’all ❤️ Going in for this track was one of the most rewarding but nerve racking days so far on the tour, so I cannot thank you enough to everyone watching on each side of the stage. Guys I cannot even lie I was ready to burst into tears when I saw you all there it filled my heart & will be a moment I will never forget ❤️ to my boys: YALLLL!! Thank you so much for being patient with me as I was quickly trying to get use to the lifts && making me feel freaking powerful.
